Measuring Your Canvas
Canvas Floater Frames are designed for framing stretched canvases. If your canvas isn't already stretched around an internal frame, you will need to get it professionally stretched before you can consider framing it.
Measure the EXACT external width and height of the canvas and write these measurements down. For accuracy, we recommend measuring in millimetres, but you can measure in inches if you are more comfortable with imperial measurements. These sizes would be entered into our website when ordering a floater frame.
You should also measure and write down the depth/thickness of the canvas as this size will determine which frames are suitable for your canvas. We recommend selecting a frame that has an internal depth around 2-5mm larger or smaller than the actual depth of your canvas.
That's it. Three measurements, just make sure you get them correct.
Once you have double-checked, you can proceed to view our frame range.
